Founded in 1981, the Association Haïtiano-Canado-Québécoise d’Aide aux Démunis is a non-profit organization that has been a driving force in the community in Saint-Léonard, Quebec, for decades. Dedicated to supporting all generations, it offers seasonal employment, recreational activities for seniors, catering services, and various well-known local festivals. By engaging in innovative projects like Nouveaux Horizons, the association remains a vital pillar of the community, shaping a history rich in solidarity and positive contributions to the life of the community.

Our mission
Simple mission: supporting all generations, regardless of cultural background. From the Summer Career Project to regular food initiatives, we are an integral part of the daily life of Saint-Léonard. Committed to diversity, we actively participate in local celebrations and collaborate with other organizations for community well-being. Our mission is rooted in supporting and committing to those in need. We intervene through various activities, reaching all generations, from youth to seniors, and families of all cultural backgrounds. In addition to actively participating in Saint-Léonard gatherings, including the Citizen's Day celebration, we collaborate with other local associations to contribute to the well-being of every citizen of Saint-Léonard.

Our Programs

Collective Kitchen
Every 3rd Friday of the month, participate in our Collective Kitchen, a friendly moment of culinary sharing, bringing the community together around shared delicacies.

Food Assistance
We provide vital support to families through our weekly emergency food program, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Support For Newcomers
Facilitating the transition, our support program helps newcomers in their job search, promoting a harmonious integration.

Professional Integration
